A good Monday

Yesterday was a good day for Killer B. The updated PDGA player ratings were released and I continued my upward climb with a four-point bump to 946. That's the highest I've ever been rated and it's pretty cool. My next real test will be in January when I play in the Savannah Open B-tier where there is sure to be a larger field of quality players. That is a two day event, so we'll see if this 41 year old arm can keep up with the young 'uns.

The other good thing that happened yesterday was an article I wrote about the courses at the International Disc Golf Center in Appling, GA was published in DiscGolfer magazine. This is the second article I've gotten in the magazine; the other one was a big spread on the 2010 Vibram Open. I've also written a few articles for PDGA.com this year. It's been fun and way more interesting than what I used to write -- user guides for computer software and hardware!

Lastly, because we've been hit hard by Christmas shoppers, I placed a new Innova and Discraft order too. So, expect new plastic, bags, and baskets at the end of the week or early after Christmas!
