Hippo Monthlies replacing the $10 Tourney Series

Now that we've moved to the Hippodrome and have four courses at our disposal, we've decided to get rid of the $10 Tourney Series and replace it with Hippo Monthlies!

So come join us the third Saturday of every month for a casual, no-frills, but competitive afternoon of disc golf. Formats and courses will vary. That's twelve fun events instead of four! Score!

That means that the $10 Tourney scheduled for this Sunday is cancelled. Refunds will be made to those who already pre-registered. If you are looking to play Sunday anyway, we can arrange some friendly competition for you!

• $10 for AMs, $20 for Pros
• Next: March 16.

Cold and rain do not deter February Hippo Monthly golfers!

Eleven golfers braved the cold, rainy morning Saturday to participate in this month's Hippo Monthly on Hogback. The Disc Golf Gods rewarded their dedication by stopping the rain after just two holes!

After a very un-Ben-like 60 in round 1, Ben Plant pulled it together in round 2 with a smoking 49 to take down the Open division. Georgia Tech collegiate team member Andrew Fish, out for a scouting mission with teammate Ricky Davenport, handled the Advanced division while David Watkins took down Rec.

February's Monthly is two rounds on Hogback, format TBD. No pre-reg necessary.

• Sign in at the Pro Shop by 9:45. Tee off at 10.
• $10 - Advanced, Intermediate, Rec, Juniors, and Women play for Buzz Bucks.
• $20 - One division plays for cash.
• $3 of each entry goes to course.

High school league, monthly, and $10 Tourney returns!

We've got a lot going on at Killer B and the Hippodrome this month, including the start of our high school league and the 2013 Killer B $10 Tourney Series. Come chuck some plastic with us!

CSRA High School League
Open to all high school and middle school kids. We play one round every other Saturday at 1:00. If enough kids from one school show up, we create school teams. If not, we create combo teams and go at it! Great for new players who want to meet more plastic-throwing kids from the CSRA. Starts this Saturday, Feb. 9! Just $5!

$10 Tourney - Winter Edition
Our first event of the year is Sunday, Feb. 24. Two rounds on Hogback, amateurs only. Golfers who win Buzz Bucks receive an automatic invitation to the Killer B $10 Tourney Finals at the end of the year!

Registration is open. Be sure to sign up early because it'll cost you and extra $10 on the day of the event. (more info)

Hippo Monthly
Another month, another Monthly. We will play Hogback again so you can use it as a preview for the $10 Tourney. Meet at the pro shop. 2 rounds, $10/$20 for AMs/Pros.

Hott Shott
Our weekly putting league continues each Wednesday at 7 PM. Have some fun working on your putting with this fun game. High scores of the month shoot off for an extra 25 Buzz Bucks in the monthly Killer B Booty Bonus Buzz Buck Bonanza sponsored by Pete May. Just $3, refreshments served or BYOB.

ASU clinic Sunday @ noon

The Augusta State Disc Golf team is holding a fundraising clinic Sunday at the Hippodrome at noon. Meet at Killer B.

Free for ASU students, $10 for the general public. Includes free food!
