Play Singles & Skins Sizzler: July 20
Come play a fun and different format at our next tourney -- the Singles & Skins Sizzler!
Playing Skins (or match play) is like playing 18 mini-tournaments in one round! Try it, you'll like it. Everyone has a chance to win something on each hole.
This is event #2 of 3 in our fun Dog Days of Summer Points Series. The SSS is a two round singles tournament on Old Glory.
Format Round 1 you will play singles. Round 2 you will play Skins. Your score for rd 1 will determine how much each skin (hole) will be worth in rd 2. The lower your score, the higher the value of each skin. In other words, each card will battle it out on each hole during rd 2. Win the hole, win the prize for that hole. Lose the hole and you get nothing. Two players tie the hole and the prize is pushed to the next hole.
It's a fun and different way to play disc golf. Everyone has a chance at winning something! Give it a try!

Bombs away looks good
Yesterday on our Facebook page, we asked people to guess the name of the well-dressed golfer who threw a record 521 ft on our driving range earlier in the day.
Well, today we unveil the mystery. It was Alan Kane, TD of the National Collegiate DG Championships! Alan threw a 172g Tern while wearing dress shoes, a dress shirt, and a tie. What a stud!

Hot scores for hot dogs
We had a good turnout for our first event in the Dog Days of Summer Point Series. It was a fun, relaxed day of golf with lunch donated by Matt B and cooked up by our resident Grill Master Adam.
Maybe the best part of the day was hearing the name of each team! Most were hot dog related of course.
Next up: Singles Skins Sizzler on July 20.
