New course work day! Boyd Pond needs your help Sat. June 7.

It's time to make a final push to finish Boyd Pond disc golf course in Aiken County (about 10 miles from the Hippo). Join us Saturday, June 7!

We were close to finishing when the power company clear cut through two great fairways. Then the ice storm smacked us around quite a bit. But, we continue to chip away little by little and make progress.

Here's a short to do list:

• Three tee areas need to be cleared and flattened. 
• Several fairways need to be cleared again. One fairway needs to be thinned out. 
• Two baskets need to be replanted. One basket needs to be planted. 
• A few paths need to be cut. 

So if you want to earn some killer karma and give back to this great sport, please RSVP and show up with chainsaws, weedwackers, brush cutters, loppers, heavy rakes, shovels, gloves, long pants, and a couple of friends.

• Meet at Killer B at 7:00 AM or at the park at 7:30 AM. 

Be prepared to work. There will be no tours until we call it quits. We will go until it gets too hot. Bring your lunch and drinks because there is not much nearby. Long pants and boots are a good idea.
