This one will be a bit different than others in the CSRA because it is on a former par 3 ball golf course. Most of the existing fairways and water hazards will be used to create some beautiful holes and there are about 9 holes that cut through the surrounding woods that take advantage of the hilly terrain.
Be prepared to go up, down, and across the woods! If you've played my other course in Devens, MA you'll feel right at home on some of these downhill shots.
I just have to finalize the last two holes and it'll be time to start cutting, clearing, and chucking. Keep an eye out for work days and help build the next course in Aiken.
And of course, thank you to Brad Barnes, Director of Aiken County PRT, for giving us this opportunity.
